The Center for Photography at Woodstock is excited to announce the 39th year of the Woodstock Photography Workshop & Lecture Series.
This nationally distinguished program attracts photographers at all levels and ages to study together with renowned talents from the international field in an intimate hands-on setting. The 2016 series offers a dynamic range of unique offerings, led by celebrated image makers, and includes weekend and multi-day workshops, as well as offerings just for teens.

Collaboration between WAAM, Upstate Films and CPW
FILM SCREENING, 4pm
WAAM presents a special screening of Finding Vivian Maier, a film by John Maloof and Charlie Siskel. Saturday, June 4 at 4pm at Upstate Films (132 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY 12498). $10/$7 WAAM members.
The film screening is followed by a conversation and Q&A with Howard Greenberg, founder of the Center for Photography at Woodstock and owner of Howard Greenberg Gallery, as well as a special appearance by John Maloof, who discovered Vivian Maier’s work and is the co-director of the film.
GALLERY RECEPTION, 7-8pm
Directly following the events at Upstate Films, CPW is hosting a reception for an exhibition featuring fourteen images by Vivian Maier at the Center for Photography at Woodstock (59 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY 12498).

Announcing Portfolio Reviews at the Center for Photography at Woodstock

Photographers – Come join us for a chance to meet with some of the most illustrious photography professionals in the field, who will provide feedback, advice and potential opportunities. Our reviewers include gallery and museum curators, editors and writers for print and online magazines.
Each session costs $50. Members will receive their first session free as a benefit of membership. For non-members, the cost of the first session will be applied to a one-year basic CPW membership, making them eligible to submit their portfolio to the Photography Now competition in 2017, discounts to CPW’s summer workshops and many other photography organizations via the Connections Program.
