Sandra Johanson

In the series Reconstruction, I have selected images with limited information and juxtaposed them with purposeful ambiguity to invite personal interpretation.

While the making of the series began as an intuitive response to the fear and discord of our time, through the deliberate reconstruction I became able to regain a measure of optimism for the human condition.
