A smartphone is a little device meant to create poetic images, which capture a different reality than the one we shoot with a reflex. For a year, I have been playing this photographic game because it inspires my work as a painter.
I am particularly interested in using reflection, superimposition, shadow and transparency that distort the landscapes, and thus, abstraction becomes both figurative and poetic at the same time. The more spontaneous the photo, the more it looks like a gift. I also use an application that offers a superimposition mode; similar to several layers of paint on a canvas, the two images together then form a two-face mirror.
