A Manhattan-born visual artist, Dion Ogust (Woodstock, NY) moved to the Hudson Valley in 1988. In the ensuing two decades, she has established a career as a freelance photographer and photojournalist, with her experience in animation, film, and photography. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Time Magazine, Acoustic Guitar, Hudson Valley Magazine, House, and The Woodstock Times. Ogust has served on the Board of Directors of the Center for Photography at Woodstock from 2001-2007 and she participates in the Onteora High Schoolís Student Mentor Program. In Winter 2010 she curated Landscape Forever, an exhibition of newly commissioned landscape work by local photographers made possible by a collaboration between the Center for Photography at Woodstock and the Woodstock Land Conservancy.
