My work explores the relationship between the camera and recordable world. These photographs investigate historical photographic practices and equipment to position the camera as a fictive space, a place where things happen, and an active participant in the creation of images. The insides of cameras, viewing screens peering into the landscape, and photographic tonal scales become the subject matter.
