Slide Registry

The Slide Registry at CPW is one of the only comprehensive archives of work by artists working in photography and related media in the region.

A benefit of membership at CPW, each artist file includes one sheet of twenty slides or a CD-ROM with thumbnail printout, a current resume, and an artist statement on the work.

Curators, collectors, dealers, art editors, educators and students use the Slide Registry to discover new talent for a wide range of opportunities. It is available by appointment Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5pm.

Additionally, CPW staff utilizes the Slide Registry to select work for both solo and group exhibitions, corporate collection opportunities, and for publication in the In Light column of CPW’s internationally distributed magazine, PHOTOGRAPHY Quarterly (this is an exclusive benefit for artists whose work is in the slide registry).

Participating artists are encouraged to update their files periodically and add new and current materials to the Slide Registry including new images, essays, reviews, and updated resumes.
