The Center for Photography at Woodstock welcomes submissions year-round from artists working the photographic arts.  

Each year, CPW hosts five group exhibitions including guest and in-house curated shows, our annual members show "Photography Now", and five solo exhibitions.

CPW's exhibition program focus on emerging and under- recognized image makers who are currently creating work. 

We welcome submissions from artists who use photography, digital imagery, multi-media, and/or installations that incorporate photography.

PLEASE NOTE: We review work every 3-4 months; expect us to have your work for that period. CPW is not responsible for unlabeled material or those sent without a SASE or with inadequate return postage. Please do not send original slides or prints. Also, we do not review unsolicited URL submissions

How to Submit:
CPW accepts  submissions in slide format, CD-ROM’s and accepts video works in either VHS or DVD format. 

Submissions should include:

• Work Samples (Slides should be fully labeled to include your name, contact information, title, dimensions and media of work and  should be marked in the lower left-hand corner with a red dot).
  (Digital files should be sent in JPEG format, no larger than 300 DPI at approximately 3x5” - Please, no flash or html presentations, send image files only).

• Image script detailing  title of piece, dimensions, media.

• Artist Statement

• Resume

• related materials (press, essays on your work, etc.)

• Self-addressed Return Envelope (even for CD submissions)
